Research interest:

Digital Image/Video Processing, Image/Video Coding, and Image Analysis, including:

• Image/Video coding standards and algorithms
• Motion estimation and compensation
• Context based image and video retrieval based on color and texture descriptors
• Super-resolution algorithms for image/video
• Usability of super-resolution in video coding
• Compression artifact suppression
• 3D Scene reconstruction from multiple perspective view
